The winery was founded in 2004 by a group of Chilean businessmen and by the Argentine Agronomist and Winemaker Pedro Federico Rosell.

Since its inception, the objective has been to develop top quality sparkling wines for the high-end segment. A market with great potential and growth in the region.

At the beginning, one of the priorities of the project was to find the most appropriate place to plant the vineyards and build the winery, in order to meet the objective of producing sparkling wines of the highest level. For this, the ideal characteristics that should be counted on were identified.

So then, areas of good altitude, well-drained soils, and good temperatures were chosen. The sparkling wines of Cruzat, made under the traditional method of second bottle fermentation, are the reflection of the permanent search for excellence and the constant concern in each of the details in the production process.

It is a product that combines tradition, as well as knowledge and technology, put at the service of our experts who are delivered every day in the production of Cruzat sparkling wines.

The winery has a production capacity of 300,000 liters per year.

Its underground cellars stand out for their optimal temperature levels, which allow a storage and fermentation process with the best quality standards.

Pedro Rosell and Lorena Mulet are the Argentine winemakers, who in 2011 come together to give life to the production of Cruzat sparkling wines.

Pedro Rosell is recognized as one of the most qualified voices in Argentina when it comes to sparkling wines. This has led him to work in France in prestigious Champagne houses and advise countless wineries and sparkling wine projects in his country.

Lorena, for her part, Pedro's student at the Faculty of Agronomy, has dedicated her entire career to specializing in this type of wine, becoming one of the 10 young winemakers in Argentina with the greatest projection.

They form a work team that understands that patience, passion for every detail and joint work are the key to obtaining good results in the world of wines.
