Bodegas Staphyle was born from the dream and vision of the Porretta family. In 2002, based on the idea of ​​producing their own wines, they decided to start up an old winery, located in Carrodilla, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza; The building dates back to 1930. Its wooden ceilings and large glass windows make Staphyle a captivating boutique winery, incorporating modern technology.

Scattered in the best and main production areas of Mendoza, its vineyards form the heart of the STAPHYLE project. In Agrelo and Potrerillos their grapes grow in unbeatable conditions to provide them with the material that will give life to our wines. In the Uco Valley, together with small producers from Gualtallary, Vista Flores, El Cepillo, Chacalles and Altamira, they complete a selection of high quality grapes that stand out year after year in our wines. With them, they supply 80% of their oenological production.

The production process begins with a manual harvest and transfer to the winery in small boxes of 18 kg. After an exhaustive cluster selection cycle, they are placed in stainless steel vessels and fermentation begins. Once the fermentation is complete, the wines rest and mature in specially selected French oak barrels to highlight the quality and personality of the terroir.
