Bodega El Esteco is located in the Calchaquíes Valleys, a beautiful natural landscape carved by the sun, mountains and vineyards. The Valleys are made up of Cafayate and Chañar Punco.
Located in Salta and located at more than 1,700 meters high, it is one of the emblems of the Calchaquí Valleys. Its beauty lies in its landscapes with curious geological formations of reddish colors. The stony soils make up a natural challenge that requires that each portion of the soil be specially studied and, then, each vine plantation is carried out in an artisanal way.
Poor alluvial soils, sunny mornings and mild afternoons in the summer months that allow long ripening periods and a marked thermal amplitude make Cafayate an exceptional terroir. Its vineyards are worked day by day creating stories that are reflected in the harvests, brands that influence the quality of its grapes and from which careful and perfect wines are born.
A winery that has a marked respect for the Salta tradition, a fusion between the legacy of ancient civilizations, the Hispanic influence and the Creole spirit. Its iconic building, surrounded by old vineyards, in the Spanish Vallisto colonial style with galleries and internal courtyards, denotes the elegance of the colonial architecture typical of the north of the country. The centenary building contrasts with the most current wine production technologies located inside the winery; such as concrete vessels and stainless steel tanks, passing through the always poetic French and American oak barrels, giving us wines of different styles, flavors and aromas.
