Bodega Antigal was established in the place where a historic winery was located in Russell, Maipú and its origins date back to 1897.
This historic building houses a state-of-the-art facility whose gravity flow platform system allows for a closer “hands off” approach to winemaking, eliminating the need for heavy pumps and grinders.
With its complete remodel, Antigal achieved the best in high-tech functionality, respecting the original appearance of a historically important place in Mendoza, Argentina.

Horacio Peiró together with his brother Alexis, in this way realize their ancestral dream, linked to the vineyards that their European immigrant grandparents created; pioneer winegrowers in the south of Mendoza, at the beginning of the 20th century.

Antigal Winery & States produces its export brand Cavia in two lines: Cavia Varietal, represented by young and fruity wines. Cavia Reserve, noted for its structure and intensity.
