Since his beginnings, Karim has based his winemaking dogmas on three fundamental pillars: innovation, understanding of terroir and sustainable vineyards. His constant obsession to find the purest fruit with a unique identity using the original vines has led him to achieve an original concept for each terroir that manifests itself in each of his wines. 

Abras is just the first chapter of a long story that began when he fell in love with Cafayate, a high altitude desert located in Salta at 1750 m.a.s.l. (cradle of Torrontés and great Malbecs). The grapes are selected from vines over 30 years old, planted on alluvial soils at the foot of the valley,which means more mineral and genuine expressions. In the same way that the Incas used the Abras as roads to cross the mountains, we take advantage of this mystical portal to access the wonderful world of wine in the Calchaquíes Valleys.
