The Bousquet family, from the city of Carcassonne, in the south of France, has 4 generations in its long history and winemaking tradition. Their passion is the production of superior quality wines and that is what brought them to Argentina to begin a new chapter in the family winemaking history.
In 1990, they came to Mendoza to learn more about its vineyards and wineries. By discovering the unique characteristics of the region (its soil, high altitude and terroir), the family was convinced that they had found the ideal place to set up their winery. Thus, in 1997, they acquired 110 ha of virgin land in the Gualtallary terroir, Tupungato, and the Family moved from France to the foot of the Andes. Domaine Bousquet is one of the first foreign winery ventures that settled in the country and that contributed to the boom that Argentine viticulture experienced since the late 1990s.
From that moment on, the family and their team have worked tirelessly to build a state-of-the-art winery that is currently synonymous with quality. The Gualtallary vineyards are at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level, one of the highest in Mendoza. Thanks to their location, they enjoy a cold climate with a constant fresh breeze and great thermal amplitude, allowing the excellent development of the wine-growing activity.
The main objective of the Bousquet Family was to combine European winemaking techniques, with the exceptional climate and terroir of the region. In 2002 Domaine Bousquet had her first harvest.
Starting in 2005, the winery oriented its production to international markets, experiencing exponential growth since then. With a presence in more than 50 countries around the world, Domaine Bousquet has become the export leader in the Premium Organic Wines segment, garnering numerous awards and excellent scores from the most prestigious international organizations and media.

The Domaine Bousquet team is attentive to small details and specializes in combining traditional and avant-garde methods, with the aim of producing high-quality wines with a modern style.
The winery has a capacity of 4.5 million liters of quality wine in stainless steel tanks, concrete and French and American oak barrels.
The grapes arrive at the winery in small bins to the reception area where they are manually selected before going through the destemmer. After destemming, the fruit is sent to the maceration and fermentation tanks for approximately 30 days. Fermentation is carried out with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature. During the vinification process, our oenological team regularly controls and supervises our wines to ensure exceptional quality in each of our lines.
