The Antigal Winery was founded by the Peiró family in the center of a historic winery in Russell, Maipú, whose origin dates back to 1897. Its current design harmonizes with a testimonial appearance of the time.

Maipú is today a department called the "cradle of wine", and the first area of ​​Argentine wines. 25 km. from the urban center of Mendoza, the winery integrates the circuits of wine tourism of the Wine Routes.

Horacio Peiró together with his brother Alexis, in this way realize their ancestral dream, linked to the vineyards that their European immigrant grandparents created; pioneer winegrowers in the south of Mendoza, at the beginning of the 20th century.
