Finca Ambrosia Precioso Cabernet is a limited production. This is the TOP Cabernet Sauvignon of our line. It was made with the best grapes from our extraordinary vineyard located in the Gualtallary District, Department of Tupungato in the heart of the Uco Valley, where the soil has a high lime content that enhances the mineral character and gives structure to the tannins. It was fermented with native yeasts, plus a gentle maceration for 25 days before pneumatic pressing. Malolactic fermentation was in new French Mercurey oak barrels, where it was aged for 18 months and then 12 months in bottle followed by 9 months in bottle.

Impressive style nose with dark forest fruits and lots of spice and graphite. The palate has a very succulent, long and quite powerful core of spicy cherry flavors.

About Ambrosia

Gualtallary is the ideal region for grape cultivation due to its peculiar soil formation: pure limestone over quaternary gravels. The presence of clay in the soil is another important factor in vine development. Their soils are the perfect ecosystem which allows the plants to grow with a natural control of its quality.

The estate division in special parcels for each of their varietals, as result of an exhaustive soil study done by Perro Parra, terroir expert, allowing them to maximize the quality of the produced wine, guarantying that each grape varietal has the essential conditions for its best yield.

In Finca Ambrosía, the complete harvest process is carefully done by hand, thus preserving their grapes properties and quality.
