Description

Viña Cobos makes wines that naturally express the terroir from which they come. Paul Hobbs, founding partner and winemaker of Viña Cobos, has been working since 1988 in the exploration of the different terroirs of Mendoza, looking for the most outstanding regions within Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco, for the elaboration of unique wines. A sustainable management of the vineyard allows to achieve balanced harvests and high quality fruit, from there a careful treatment of the grape and a meticulous production process, gives rise to complex and elegant wines, of great subtlety and balance.

About Viña Cobos

The balance in the yield of the vines allows to concentrate to the maximum typical characteristics of aromas, structure and complexity of each variety. For this reason, Viña Cobos makes its wines through natural, minimally invasive processes, taking care that they receive a gentle treatment at each stage of their development. It seeks and encourages fermentation through indigenous yeasts, not being in favor of clarifying or filtering its wines to maintain its complexity and promote its dense texture and final persistence.

Viña Cobos has a product portfolio made up of four lines of wines: Cobos, Bramare Vineyard Designation, Bramare Appellation and Felino.
