After a long search in various regions of Argentina, Lurton decides to establish his vineyards in highlands (1,100 m) and semi-desert. Thanks to his experience, acquired all over the world, he practiced viticulture that respects the environment and produces extraordinary wines here. Years ago, the pioneer of the Uco Valley built his winery, the Piedra Negra Winery, on 200 hectares of virgin land acquired in what later became the Geographical Indication of Los Chacayes.
