They called this wine "Biolento", in honor of the small and violent creatures that attack the vineyard and represent the greatest challenge of organic farming. The grapes come from a farm with zero tillage, where pesticides are not fertilized or used. This wine contains half the added sulfites of a traditional wine, is fermented with indigenous yeasts and is bottled unfiltered. This Single Vineyard is gentle and subtle on the palate despite its name. It is a red between classic and modern, with incipient tannins and a certain strength. Something powerful but well disguised by its freshness. It is not very persistent and the spices dominate with some roasting on the finish. It is a frank wine with a powerful finish

About Maal Wines

They say that so far only malbecs are the main objective. It is a project of young and intrepid minds who tell us the following:

At our farm in Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo, we will start this year with the construction of the first winery in Argentina, and perhaps in the world, built entirely of recycled materials. Combining materials such as abandoned containers, old sleepers and tubing pipes, we designed a small 100,000-liter winery designed to make wines of the highest quality, but with traditional production techniques.
