Bodega Colome has been making the famous high altitude wines since 1831 located in the Altos Valles Calchaquies area. There the wines have been carefully focused on the flagship varieties of Argentina, to highlight the unique and differential characteristics. These reflect the soul of the special terroir, the high altitude. Bodega Colome is the realization of a dream: to make wines in the highest vineyards in the world, Malbec grapes from four different altitudes are grown here. The winery is part of Hess Family Wine Estates, a family business of Swiss origin with wineries in the United States and Argentina.
