Gustavo Caligiore is a young entrepreneur, belonging to a large family of producers aware of the importance of developing sustainable agricultural activities, that is why since 2002 they design wines at Bodega Caligiore with the concept that distinguishes them: vineyards and organic wines. Bodega Caligiore Considered a pioneer winery of vineyards and organic wines in Argentina, it has managed to capture this philosophy with great effort and dedication. It has vineyards located in the districts of Ugarteche and Mayor Drummond in the department of Luján de Cuyo.
Located in the district of Ugarteche, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza; its vines grow in balance with the spontaneous vegetation, preserving the soils and wildlife, giving rise to grapes of excellent quality; delicate and expressive, which are carefully hand-harvested and give rise to their delicious and unique wines.
The soils are of alluvial origin, poor in organic matter, with very different textures within the vineyard, allowing us to obtain complex wines, mixing plots with different expressions, all grown above 900 meters above sea level. Within this complexity, all the wines have a common character, standing out for the explosiveness of their fruity aromas, great body and texture, and a juicy and fresh acidity.
