Between the '80s and' 90s Lagarde devoted himself to deepening the style and quality of his wines. Innovation was always a fundamental pillar, turning out to be the first producers to plant non-traditional strains in Latin America such as Viognier or Moscato Bianco, with the aim of achieving wines with a style typical of the winery. Since then, wines with an artistic and creative touch have been made by the winemaker, Juan Roby, who together with the owners make the production process a true cult of wine.
Lagarde preserves its original winery built in 1897. It is a faithful reflection of the image they want to convey through their wines: the harmonious balance between the past and innovation.
Today, the winery is led by the young Sofía and Lucila Pescarmona, third generation of the family, who tirelessly continue with the project of creating unique wines that have a perfect balance between the past that lasts and the projection towards the future. All this accompanied by a strong sustainable commitment to its land and its people.
Thanks to their commitment to excellence, they make wines that compete with the best references worldwide.
