Karim Mussi makes this rosé with Merlot grapes from old vineyards in La Consulta, Valle de Uco. The curious fact about the wine is that it spends a year in oak where it is periodically performed “batonnage sur lie” to achieve its bright baby skin pink color with delicate fruity aromatics. Cherries and strawberries with hints of nutmeg and spices anticipate an off-dry attack on the palate, barely sweet, which defines an intense flavor that is very popular. Frank and enveloping flows with medium body and medium freshness. Delicate without sacrificing flavor.

Karim Mussi is a Mendoza winemaker who built his reputation on several projects: Altocedro, Abras, Alandes. Altocedro is a winery focused on the unique terroir of La Consulta, a unique space in the Uco Valley, recognized for the high quality of its grapes from ancient vineyards. Since 1999, we have been making wine that speaks distinctively of the place where it originates, based on balance, elegance and aging capacity. Altocedro was born in 1998 on a centenary winery, surrounded by 17 cedars and located in La Consulta, Valle de Uco. Karim Mussi Saffie, winemaker and owner of Altocedro, along with his family, have been part of the wine industry for more than 35 years, a pioneer in the export of wine products.
