The Altocedro winemaker strived for this terroir to encourage Malbec to be fresh, fruity and easy to drink. Altocedro means "tall cedar," and represents the Lebanese-Argentine heritage of winemaker and owner Karim Mussis Saffie, and a cedar bowl that towers over the winery. Altocedro's winery is located in the growing La Consulta region, Valle de Uco, Mendoza. This is one of the main Argentine growing areas.
