List of products by brand Ver Sacrum
Eduardo Soler and two friends started Ver Sacrum in 2011 with the concept of growing and vinifying the Rhone varieties. Its oenological spirit focuses on fresh wines, low in alcohol, less contact with the skin, native yeasts; honest and easy to drink wines. All grapes are harvested by hand and most are crushed with the feet with minimal intervention in the vineyards and winery and without corrections, leaks or pump-overs. Currently the wines are made from their small vineyard in Los Chacayes, Valle de Uco (Mendoza) where they have planted Garnacha, Monastrell, Carignan, Roussane, Marsanne, Mencia, Syrah, Teroldego and Nebbiolo. Eduardo entered winemaking after returning to Mendoza and meeting some of the most adventurous winemakers in Argentina. He is also an avid mountaineer who has scaled several famous peaks and has worked as a ski pro in Aspen and Mendoza for many years.
“When the elders sent their young to found new villages, bringing vines to start new vineyards, they said goodbye with a ceremony called the sacred spring or Ver Sacrum. Since then, the Ver Sacrum is a symbol of the new tribe, new art, new vine. We renew this ancestral vow, with the audacity to create something new. This is our Ver Sacrum ”- Eduardo Soler
MoreAt the moment the winery has a Garnacha, a Monastrell, and a G.S.M blend on the market. composed of Garnacha, Syrah and Monastrell emulating the world-famous French cut. The latter is the kindest of all and suitable for the Argentine palate due to the presence of the syrah that gives it body, spices, a chocolatey tinge that mixed with the acidity of the other grapes and some wood, make a perfect wine.
