Sposato Family Vineyards arises from the realization of the dream of Tony Sposato, its founder and owner, together with his wife Karen who, through the purchase of 100 hectares in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza), decides to continue with his grandfather's legacy Italian and his father. Legacy that their ancestors had left truncated for economic reasons.

According to Tony Sposato, the winery emerged as “an adventure”: originally from Delaware, United States, Tony is the founder of a landscaping company with 350 employees, and also has businesses in the field of irrigation and real estate. In search of a new challenge, in 2010 he traveled to Argentina to “test” the terrain and analyze the possibility of creating his own farm.
