Rodolfo Spielmann, born and raised in Argentina, is the founder and owner of the Spielmann winery following the dream of producing premium red wines in his country of origin. He developed this venture having lived and worked abroad for more than 25 years in Europe, the United States and South America. Having learned to appreciate and collect wines from the main wine regions of Europe and the United States, he decided to produce his own wines in Mendoza.

In 2009 he discovered and acquired a 30 hectare vineyard with its core of Malbec vines planted in 1910, and immediately focused his management on producing premium grapes. He had the first harvest in 2010, the centenary year of the Malbec vines. From that moment to the present, both he and the winemaker Pepe Galante have stayed the course in ultra-premium wines and slightly increased the wine portfolio to four wines.

Spielmann Estates is the dream of producing unique red wines that reflect the full potential of the terroir and old vines. The company focuses on the production of small quantities of ultra premium vineyard wines.
