Domaine Nico was born from Laura Catena's obsession with Pinot Noir and Bourgogne, and is the result of several years of work on the variety and different terroirs from the Tupungato area. Pinots that seek to reflect their place of origin.

MoreDomaine Nico is Laura Catena's new personal project. It could be said that it began to take shape when the first Pinot Noir Dijon clones were planted by Nicolás Catena in Villa Bastías.
Already in 1999, these grapes were produced for the LUCA project and in 2003 the work of evaluating the plots, clones, different vinification systems and the precise use of oak began.
In 2008 the working group was created with Roy Urvieta (winemaker), Belén Iacono (viticulturist) and, when not, Alejandro Vigil (director). Finally, in 2016 they decided to bottle the plots that produced the most characteristic Pinot Noir wines, reflecting the terroir and climate of each plot.
