It was the pioneer of the list, adding to the worldwide boom of Moscatel with a little bit of residual sugar. The most wonderful thing about this wine is that you find it as the intermediate stop between a completely dry white and one you would call "sweet". It is sweet, of course, but that sugar is so well achieved and balanced by the extravagant perfume...

It is made from white grapes, but it is fermented as if it were a red wine, with the skin and the seeds. In many cases this maceration extends after fermentation, during the aging of the wine.
