About Luna Roja
The name “Luna Roja” refers to a song on the Dynamo album by the Argentine rock band Soda Stéreo, of which Gabardós is a great admirer, since in addition to being a winemaker, he is a musician and composer.
The grapes used to make the wines come from different parts of Mendoza. Syrah grapes, from the Tres Porteñas district, San Martín department. Malbec grapes, from Barrancas and Lunlunta, Maipú. Finally, the Bonarda grapes are found in the Tres Porteñas district, in San Martín.
The winery's line of wines is made up of Luna Roja Syrah, Luna Roja Syrah Roble, Luna Roja Malbec, Luna Roja Bonarda and Luna Roja Corte de Rojos.
All the wines are made under the direction of the winemaker Nicolás Gabardós, who has also worked in different wineries in Mendoza.
