About Altavista

The winery is located in the heart of Chacras de Coria, 15 kilometers south of the city of Mendoza. It is a historic building built in 1899 that was totally restored, respecting its traditional architecture and including the latest wine-making technologies, in 2003. It is one of the oldest producing wineries in Mendoza.

The technical facilities are versatile, allowing "haute couture" work in all ranges of wine. In general, the winery is characterized by small volume tanks allowing a highly qualitative vinification. The underground cellars house the French oak barrels for the aging of Alta Vista wines.
