This Cabernet Sauvignon was produced with grapes from our extraordinary vineyard located in the Gualtallary District, Department of Tupungato, in the heart of the Uco Valley. The soil has a high lime content which enhances the mineral character and gives structure to the tannins. It was fermented with native yeasts. After a gentle maceration for 25 days before pneumatic pressing. Malolactic fermentation in new and used French oak barrels, where it was then aged for 15 months. The blend includes 5% Malbec, which helps to enhance color, fruit notes and round tannins.

Crisp, citrusy aromas, with varietal typicity, more ripe red fruit and spice. With herbal hints that speak of the place and well-integrated wood. Smooth and with fine tannins, there is volume and a frank character that dominates the palate.

About Ambrosia

Gualtallary is the ideal region for grape cultivation due to its peculiar soil formation: pure limestone over quaternary gravels. The presence of clay in the soil is another important factor in vine development. Their soils are the perfect ecosystem which allows the plants to grow with a natural control of its quality.

The estate division in special parcels for each of their varietals, as result of an exhaustive soil study done by Perro Parra, terroir expert, allowing them to maximize the quality of the produced wine, guarantying that each grape varietal has the essential conditions for its best yield.

In Finca Ambrosía, the complete harvest process is carefully done by hand, thus preserving their grapes properties and quality.
