For Lucas, making wine is like having a child "you have to take great care of him, when he is starting to grow up, pay attention to him, listen to him and then let him go." Currently Niven has his family winery, Bodegas y Viñedos Niven, in which he displays all his knowledge and art of good vitivinicultural living. In it he experiments with all kinds of varietals and tells us that his next goal is to make sweet wine with frozen grapes.
