Of saturated purple color. On the nose it displays a great complexity of aromas, with notes of toasted oak, scorched earth, minerals, cassis, and red and black fruits. In the mouth it is a wine that shows exceptional breadth and great depth, letting subtle layers of fruit emerge, full of elegance and potential.

About Cuvelier

The history of this winery begins in France, in 1804, long before arriving in Mendoza. Henri Cuvelier began marketing wine by selling his product in the most prosperous areas of the north of the country, and his descendants carried on with this passion for wine from generation to generation, acquiring vineyards and ‘châteaux’ in Bordeaux. An important family in the world of French wine, which was invited by Michel Rolland to invest in the Clos de Los Siete project. It is made up of five French-owned wineries in the Uco Valley, all making their wines on the same property, but in individual wineries. Cuvelier, who began making his own wine in 2003, in a modern winery focused on making old-world French-style Argentine wines.

The winery was designed with simplicity and is divided into three units - one for tanks, one for barrels, and the third for bottles. The building's orange hues contrast sharply with the mountain landscape in the background.

At Cuvelier Los Andes, Excellence is sought in all stages of the process that leads from the grape to the bottle of wine. Therefore, no grapes are bought, only the grapes from their own vineyard are processed.
